July 9th...... A comfortable low humidity night. Many people ask me how is it I can just go be alone on a friday night. It is not about being alone it is just being. This day was another lesson for me. A lesson of not what I missed but what I have!
.
I was so excited to be in this spot and experience all that transpired. I watched the children with families. Some complete families amd some single parents. All the children had the same excitment!! I watched groups of girls walking and giggling. I watched guys in groups clowning. I think my favorite were some of the older senior couples together. They would help each other along and pay special attention to the traffic signals. It really was sort of romantic to watch them together knowing they have spent many years together and were still excited to share a night as if it could have been a first date:)
.
Most fans had some sort of team appearal. Both teams had fans but would walk together into the stadium. As the sun started to backlight Rocky Mountain National Park the city became illuminated and the air became saturated with the smell of hotdogs and peanuts.
.
I stayed a bit longer and could here the fans chant "Lets go ROCKIES" as me and my observation box rolled passed the stadium. What a way to spend a friday night!!!! Sorry if you let yours slip by...........

Such an incredible shot Dave! Love the drawing below too! Is it a self portrait! lol ;) Well you're not going to believe this but I am in Denver on a modeling assignment.. I knew you moved here and I tried to call you but your Tampa number is disconnected. I brought my camera and was hoping that you could give me some pointers. I think I have some time over the weekend if you're available. Would so love to shoot with you..maybe we could do dinner afterwards and catch up. I told the agency to give you my number if you call. Talk soon.
