Absence diminishes mediocre passions and increases great ones, as the wind extinguishes candles and fans fires.

I love this quote! Being a hopless romantic my entire life gives me great insight into this word.

It must have been a special meaning to me at a time of crisis.

This sketch was done at age 12. I do think it is profound at how complex I made it. Ha... I love to laugh at myself:) Makes me happy. This piece makes me smile.

Wow, how do you still have artwork from when you were 12?
Yes, Dave you are an artist :) I've always known that. You can teach someone to use software or equipment but you can not teach someone to have an artistic eye- you either have that or you don't. You do. Keep creating.

Its hard to keep going with it. I feel alone with my creations. When I try and share, people don't understand me. I have this dream I will be able to share all my thoughts completly without judgement. Well glad you guys like it:)

An instinct/concept so basic yet forever complex. Truly profound, love it. Thanks for sharing!

Art is unique in that that artist creates to please him/herself and you don't have to worry about what anyone else thinks- as long as you enjoy it. I think in general people don't really "know what they like", they simply "like what they know"- things that they have been exposed to and they are familiar with. Don't ever evaluate your work by what others think.
