Summer nights downtown. After riding around a few hours up in Highlands Bana and I stopped for a few at the park. Bana has a crush on one of the bikes. As always we meet a few more people we have never seen before.

People say I am different. I think it is all strange because I am just Dave. I was never afraid to swim in the deep water:)

More athletes. I tried to capture the concentration of these players. As I was shooting it just seemed like ballet to me. At was fun working with these champs:)

I get to see, visit and photograph a lot of sports. At any level I am always amazed at the effort and dedication. There are two that always bring me back to another level of thought. One of those is professional MX. I will never forget what Mitch Payton said to a rider one day. It was first round of practice. One of the team riders was not doing the triple jump. He came into the pits. Mitch ask whats wrong with the bike. The rider said its all good... Mitch said "Son you get paid to win.. go back out and do the 90ft. triple!" That is a lot different than waiting until you feel comfortable. For me that was a reality check.
.
Oh well, the outdoor season is in full swing now. I hope you can catch some live racing this summer.
.

They get here faster and pass even quicker. I feel like one of the lucky ones. Time has let me do a lot of things I never thought possible. Since I communicate visually here is the message.

"Just because you are getting older it does not mean you cant be interesting and have character"

These last few shots I liked also. There are many more ideas I would like to show but time has a funny thing about showing up:) Overall I am happy the way it turned out for the girls.
